The beach faces north across the gulf towards Kronstadt, so N, NE and E are the money directions, with NW usable too. Those are exactly the winds that are offshore on the north shore. Typical summer days are 12–20 kn.
Water & level
There are big, flat shallows with a sandy bottom, and it stays shallow far out. It's very beginner-friendly and great for learning to ride upwind. A few underwater stones are scattered around, so learn where they are from the locals.
Ice season
In a proper winter the shallow bay freezes early and gives smooth ice for snowkiting. As everywhere on the gulf, check ice thickness and conditions before heading out.
Watch out
Some rocks, paid parking at the beach in summer, and south-westerlies, which blow along the shore and turn gusty. The live sensor here is unreliable, so check the neduet.ru board and Kronstadt's reading instead.
Live wind
Live readings come straight from the station owners via the embedded widgets. Stations go offline sometimes; if a reading looks frozen, check the time stamp.
