Tarifa & the Canary Islands

Two engines run Spanish kiting. In the Strait of Gibraltar, Tarifa lives between Levante and Poniente, and it is windy most days of the year. Out in the Atlantic, the Canaries ride the NE trades, which switch on in late spring and peak from June to August. When the Med goes flat, the islands are usually lit.
