The coast faces north-west onto the open gulf. SW, W and NW come in with plenty of fetch, typically 12–22 kn, and more in autumn. On the same weather day it's often a touch windier than the city spots.
Water & level
There's a wide sandy beach, choppy water and very little traffic, so it's good for lessons and long sessions. Warm-water discharge from the power station keeps this part of the gulf less icy, so riders come here in early spring and late autumn when other spots are frozen or freezing.
Launch & access
Lots of space on the beach. Local kite crews (WindHunters) run a sensor and lessons here. It's about 80 km from St Petersburg by car, so check the live sensor before you drive.
Watch out
Stay away from the power-plant discharge channels and fenced industrial zones, where riding is prohibited and the currents are strong. It's also very cold water outside summer, so wear a 5/4 with a hood and gloves.
Live wind
Live readings come straight from the station owners via the embedded widgets. Stations go offline sometimes; if a reading looks frozen, check the time stamp.
